You will receive a confirmation email after you place your order which should include information about the expected ship date(s) for your items.
The easiest way to see the current status of your order is to log into your account and go to your Orders page. To get there:
- Log in to your account
- Choose “Orders” when the menu appears
- Find your order and click “View” to see the status details
Yes, just select the option ‘Click & Collect’ at the checkout when you’re placing your order. All Click & Collect orders receive free delivery. Note that all orders are fulfilled from our store located at Penrose.
We ship nationwide to New Zealand. If you are interested in delivery to any location other than NZ, drop us a line.
Unfortunately we are unable to ship to PO boxes.
We always strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. Our regular order processing times are 1-2 business days, depending on your location. Shipping times are 1-4 business days after your order leaves our warehouse.
We will send you an email once your item has shipped along with tracking information.
If you are waiting for your delivery and feel that it is taking longer than it should, you can use the Courier Post tracking link on your confirmation email to check progress of your delivery.
We work hard to process your order quickly and efficiently, so you receive your product as soon as possible. Orders cannot be interrupted once they have been placed.
If you accidentally placed an order with wrong or outdated information, please Contact Us right away and we will try to sort it out.

If you believe there is damage to the products you’ve ordered, please Contact Us. It is helpful if you can send us pictures showing the damage.
When you buy a DECO LED product, you’re not only purchasing the very best, you are buying peace of mind. All products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty.
This warranty DOES NOT cover;
- Defects caused by factors other than Normal Domestic use.
- Defects to the product caused by accident, neglect, misuse or Act of God.
- Repairs when the item has been dismantled, repaired or serviced by anyone other than DECO LED.
- Damage caused by Tree Growth and Movement (See below)
- Pick-up and delivery.
Tree Growth and Movement:
If fairy lights are installed into trees, regular loosening off is required. Trees are living, growing plants and the circumference of the trunk and branches will expand over time (this varies depending on the tree age and species). If you simply wrap the lights around the trunk and branches then leave them, they will fail due to tree growth.
Please ensure you regularly loosen off the lights – we recommend AT LEAST six-monthly loosening – this is required more regularly in younger, rapidly growing trees.

- Local pickup
When your order is dispatched, you’ll be sent a dispatch confirmation email informing you that your order has been dispatched along with the tracking number and link.
Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept POLI and PayPal payments.
Credit and Debit Card payments are processed using Stripe, ensuring your card details are processed and stored securely in accordance with industry guidelines. Your card details are stored by Stripe, we do not have access to your card details at any stage, and to guarantee your protection against fraud your card details can only be used to make payments to us via Stripe.
Our prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
All prices are include GST.
We do not offer an instalment plan at this time.
Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please read more in our Refund and Returns Policy.
After submitting your return request, you will have an additional 7 days to ship out your return. If your return was not accepted, you will receive an e-mail with additional details
We do accept returns in respect to the following conditions:
- The item shouldn’t have been used in any way
- The return or exchange request is made within 14 days of delivery
- The return is made within 7 days of the return or exchange request

Returns are the responsability of the buyer.

We do accept exchanges and they follow the same conditions as returns.
In order to ask for an exchange, please mention that you would like your item to be exchanged with another item when preparing your return with our support.
Once your refund request has been accepted and the returned items received and approved for refund, DECO LED will return the funds to your original payment method.
Banks may then take an additional 14 business days to process the initiated refund before it appears in your bank account.
