“Can I get those lights for my home?”

Chances are, you have our work as our projects feature in many New Zealand towns and cities. We often get asked “can I get those lights for my home?”.  Well now you can from Deco LED…


  • Deco LED products have been specifically designed for home use.  We have lowered the voltage to 66v DC, safe to install yourself (certified as Safe Extra Low Voltage or SELV) but powerful enough to give you the dazzling result you see in those commercial installations.
  • Why 66v DC? Well sorry but other low voltage solutions (12v or 24v DC) just don’t cut it. They are fine if you only want a few lights or are happy with loads of power supplies and cords, but if you want to dress a reasonably-sized backyard tree with fairy lights, or go right down the side of your house with a nice fairy light fringe, Deco LED 66v DC is the only way to go.

Deco LED is an online shop, but it is owned by a Kiwi and we are actually here in New Zealand. Stock offered on our site is in our warehouse in New Zealand. You can come and see us in Penrose, Auckland and you will probably understand what we are saying. We comply with all New Zealand Electrical Safety Standards and trade under the terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act.  If something goes wrong, we will fix it. 

Deco LED products are not “off the shelf”

And you won’t find them for sale on Ali Express or Amazon. We have designed the system from the ground up, based on our extensive commercial project knowledge and experience. Deco LED products feature high-grade LEDs and rubber cable, resulting in a robust commercial-grade system that can withstand New Zealand’s unique conditions, including our high UV.  

“What colour LED do you like?”

The age-old question: should you get the bright White or Warm White LEDs?  And what about colours?  We have solved that issue with just two version of Deco LED Fairy Lights:

  1. RGB: select 16+ colours and a range of effects using a remote control.  They can be set for Warm White and White, but these are composite colours. If you want crisp, sparkly Warm White or White, use the other option….

  2. W/WW: select White or Warm White and a range of effects using a remote control. Effects include flashing, twinkling or just steady-on.

“Proper Fairy Lights that are solar-powered”

If you have ever purchased solar-powered Fairy Lights, you were probably disappointed with the low output LEDs, the flimsy solar panel and the low quality PVC cable. There has not been a decent solar fairy light system on the market in New Zealand…until now.

Deco LED Solar Fairy Lights feature a high grade 7.5 watt solar panel (15 watt coming soon), high-capacity Lithium-ion batteries, rubber cable and high output LEDs. This is the real deal, proper fairy lights that are solar powered. The Solar lights are White/Warm White (selectable from the rear of the solar panel or with the remote control).
